Celebrity Cruise ‘loses customers luggage in ocean and failed to tell her’

A Celebrity Cruise customer claims the company failed to inform her that it lost her luggage at sea.
The customer, Lindsey, took to TikTok to share her personal account of the situation.
“This is literally so ridiculous that I even need to make this video,” the woman, who mostly posts artistic content on her account, says in the now-viral video.
“Celebrity Cruise Line lost my bag in the ocean and didn’t tell me,” she alleged. “And left it there.”
She claims that in addition to the the company failing to inform her about the situation, it also did offer any compensation for its alleged mishandling of her luggage.
She said she and her family boarded the cruise at a port in Amsterdam.
Then, as everyone was claiming their bags after boarding, her luggage never arrived and she had to go on a mission to track it down.
While the crew allegedly failed to provide her with more information about the status of her luggage, she says she eventually received a phone call from someone who “fished” her bag out of the water at the port.
“Someone who worked for the Amsterdam Port fished my bag out of the ocean,” she said. “It had no tags on it saying where the bag was going.”

However, the bag did have a tag with her personal information, which is how she was contacted.
“No one saw it. No one reported that it was gone,” she said in the video. “If someone hadn’t found it floating in the ocean, I wouldn’t have even known it was gone.”
However, it wasn’t all smooth sailing from there as the ship had already left, forcing her to survive without her personal belongings during her two-week European vacation.
“This is like absolutely unacceptable,” she said.
Celebrity Cruise Line did not immediately respond to request for comment from the Daily Express US.
